Transfamily

Transfamily is a peer support group for family, partners, friends and loved ones of trans and gender diverse (TGD) people.
The group acknowledges and respects the personal decisions of TGD people and provides peer support and guidance to others who want to learn how best to support the TGD people in their lives.

Run by a committee of nine passionate volunteers, all with lived experience, Transfamily provides a warm and understanding environment for friends and family to share experiences, ask questions, seek advice and support each other via monthly meetings in various suburbs around Melbourne.

Transfamily is the proud recipient of the Melbourne Award 2022 in the category of LGBTQIA+.
